29 July 2023: Well, believe the hype:
Barbie was so much fun. Very sweet, too. I got choked up a couple of times (though I am an easy movie cry). Went to see it today with Amy, who is back after three weeks in Africa. Low-key delayed birthday celebration for her, too, with dinner after.
