8 May 2024: I had a truly awful work-related meeting yesterday, so I am especially grateful for three very good meetings today--each quite different from the other.
The first was with the group of colleagues who are working on our NWP Summer Institute. We've got such a good team and I found myself so excited to be working with them on this.
The second was an unexpected lunch "meeting" with my friends Stevea and Jim. Always lovely to spend time with them.
The third was my last monthtly Faculty Sentate President meeting with the University President, this time accompanied by my successor, Larry. Feels good to be done with this and see it pass to someone who will do an amazing job.
