My friend Amber and I used to joke/wonder what happened to all those shirts and hats teams had printed up in anticipation of wins in championships they ended up losing. For instance, I once posited, "Some little kids in Africa are going to be running around wearing NY Yankees, 2001 World Series Champions t-shirts." (That one still hurts a bit.)
Well, here's some confirmation of that theory.

Hilarious!! I mention that theory often at various sporting events. I even mentioned it at the Super Bowl party we went to this year. A man from our church here is in Nicaragua right now on his annual mission trip. I'll ask him when he gets back if he saw any of these shirts.
That would be so awesome if that guy from Amber's church sees the stuff there! that would rock!
