Finally, some scientific validation that my fear of clowns isn't that strange. Check out
this article from Reuters, although I warn you that the picture at the top made my heart freeze in fear. Seriously, for a good five minutes afterwards, I could still see it when I closed my eyes.

Hey Heidi!!
Mike is totally weirded out by clowns too!! He can't stand them... or snakes. don't know which scares him more!
I knew it! Clowns are sooo creepy. Can you imagine Colin's reaction if we had a clown entertain at his next birthday party? Bear in mind that this kid does not even like to sit on Santa's lap. Some serious psychological harm could ensue if we "send in the clowns"!
That article was so scary that it was blocked by the church's firewall! That must have been on seriously scary picture. I think that I am glad that I didn't see it.
And, as a kid that was so scared of Ronald McDonald as a small child that I didn't even want to go to McDonald's for fear that he would be there, I agree that clowns have no place at a children's birthday party.
Oh man--Colin would have a melt-down if that clown in the article appeared.
Love that the church firewall blocked the article. See--even God is anti-clown. (Except for Krusty--the one exception I'll make.) Don't get me started on Ronald McDonald...
Hmmmm...in that last comment, I think I might have sounded like I was God...sorry about that, God. Don't send a clown to punish me.
oh... you girls crack me up! I was laughing out loud at some of your comments!!
