Year in review...

...well, the academic year in review, so to speak. Our annual reports are due on March 1.* It's always a strange process, but man does it reward good record keeping. All those little workshops or events you went to? It's terrific to have that all written down in your trusty planner (so don't throw out last year's planner until after you complete that report!). Still, every year there's at least one thing I have to do a little internet searchin' for. This year it was "When was graduation?" and "What the heck was the name of that workshop?" All in all, though, it's kind of rewarding to see the template get filled up with information about your courses, your scholarship, and all that other stuff.

Mind-numbingly boring to do, but rewarding at the same time. And yeah, a rip-roaring fun way to spend a Saturday night.

*Which is really weird, right? They used to be due on April 1, which was also weird, but now it's a month earlier. So we have to track/record our activities from March 1 of one year to February 28/9 of the next year. It's especially strange because you start/stop mid-semester.

You actually have a paper planner? I used to have one every year for college but all my record keeping for years has been electronic. I really had no idea that people still used those. I'm impressed at you keeping it old school.

Yeah. I am totally old-school. I have been using this style of planner for the past five years or so and I love it: http://www.paperblanks.com/ca/en/collections/5/filtered?collection_id=330#2669.
