Puppies!
A blog shout-out to my friend Kate, who along with her roommate, is fostering two puppies. Check them out here--and pass along the word to anyone in the DC-metro area who might have a good home for Alice and Alba.

Alice & Alba are really starting to come out of their shells. They'll eat a handful of food from my hand now, and they let us pet them. They're turning into the rambunctious puppies they should be! (I will say, though, that it's hard having two dogs who look so much alike who have names that both start with Al.)
What amazes me most about these two is that, when they get tangled in their leashes (anyone who has walked a dog knows what I'm talking about!), they know how to untangle themselves! I've never seen a dog do that before.
